Guangxi Zhuangxiang Wood Industry Co.,Ltd, established on July 12, 2005, is a private enterprise located in Rong'an, Liuzhou, Guangxi, China. The company specializes in the high-value deep processing of Chinese fir (Latin. Cunninghamia lanceolata) wood. Covering over 180 acres, the company has a factory space exceeding 80,000 square meters. With more than 300 production units, its annual output of Chinese fir wood-based boards reaches about 150,000 cubic meters, ensuring a reliable and steady supply to over 700 branded stores in the domestic market.

Chinese fir is an evergreen tree, serving as a unique primary timber species in China and one of the ancient coniferous species. It can grow up to 30 meters in height and 3 meters in diameter. Its wood features a straight, intact grain, flexible texture, and attractive figure, along with a natural aroma. Additionally, it is dimensionally stable (does not warp or deform) and contains "cedrol"—a compound that grants it excellent resistance to insects, decay, and deterioration. These properties make it particularly suitable for water-borne transportation applications.
As early as the Zhou Dynasty, Cunninghamia lanceolata (Chinese fir) was documented in historical records. Specifically, in Erya Shimu (a classic ancient Chinese lexicon), it was referred to by its archaic names and described as: “Native to the south of the Yangtze River, it can be used to make ship masts and remains undecayed even when buried underground.”

In order to further enhance the brand image of Zhuangxiang and establish it as the brand with the most national culture and health genes in the home furnishing industry, we aim to increase Zhuangxiang's visibility, reputation, and recognition. We are collecting slogans for the Zhuangxiang brand from all sectors of society. By the submission deadline, we received a total of 845 slogans. After initial and secondary evaluations by experts, 10 slogans were selected for the finalist awards, and 1 slogan was chosen for the adoption award (details of the winning works and authors can be found in the attachment below):

In order to implement the national policy of "dual circulation promoting each other and building a new development pattern" during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, accelerate the construction of a hub and frontier connecting the ASEAN economy, boost confidence in the development of the timber industry, and enhance the strategic brand of Guangxi-ASEAN trade, the China Guangxi Timber Industry Development Summit Forum, hosted by the Guangxi Forestry Industry Association, was held in Nanning on September 23, 2022.
